Kids in Rhythm is an all inclusive preschool, serving children of all abilities ages 3 to 5 years old. We focus on developing cognitive, verbal, physical, and social skills. Studies have shown that children with differences learning together in the same environment have lasting positive impact. Every brain is different and we celebrate that here at Kids in Rhythm!

What is a Therapeutic Preschool?

At a Therapeutic Preschool, children receive a safe and nurturing environment for those who need early intervention due to neurological, behavioral or psychological disturbances.

Occupational therapy practitioners promote the function and engagement of infants, toddlers, and their families in everyday routines by addressing areas of occupation such as activities of daily living (eating/sleeping), playtime, education & social participation. Practitioners enhance a family's capacity to care for their child while promoting his or her development through natural environments where they live, work & play.

What Type of Kids Qualify for Therapeutic Preschool?

Therapeutic preschools are designed for children of all different backgrounds. Professionals with unique skills can tailor each activity to the needs of your child, and most classes will benefit every preschooler between 2-5 years old.

A child's ability to communicate with others can be challenging when they are learning to acquire language. Early language therapy is a space where speech therapists have the opportunity create activities for children in which they use their new words so that communication becomes easier and more natural over time.

As a parent, you want to ensure that your child receives every opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. Preschool can play a significant role in achieving these goals for children who may not fit into a standard preschool setting because of an individualized educational plan (IEP), disability, diagnosis or disorder. Programs such as therapeutic preschools have been known to be life-changing for those individuals—increasing social skills while decreasing anxiety levels which ultimately helps the student adjust better within society overall!

Kids in Rhythm has a Good Student-to-Teacher Ratio

A lower student-to-teacher ratio is beneficial for children because it provides more personalized care.

Kids in Rhythm only has 10 students per class.

The "Economic Journal" published a study that found students who attended smaller classes during their first few years of school were more likely to take college entrance exams than those enrolled with large class sizes.

No Potty Training Required for Enrollment

Some Early Learning programs require enrolled children to be fully toilet trained, which can pose a challenge for some families who feel their child is ready for the social and emotional benefits of preschool but not quite ready to spend the day in undies. This why kids and rhythm does not require a fully potty trained child in order to enroll.
